Oscar has been in love with cars from before he could walk and as a youngster he prided himself on knowing about cars specs like engine output and top speeds.
 
His dream car as a youngster and still today is the FERRARI F40. He also raced radio controlled model cars from the age of 8 to 18, and in the 10 years achieved many milestones including South African colors, and representing SA at the world championships held in California USA.

At the age of 18 and with a drivers license, his love for cars really came into it's own and for his 21st birthday he bought himself the iconic GOLF GTI.
 
He entered a track day event late in 2001 and much to his surprise did really well. He decided to convert his everyday road car into a racing car and entered the SUPER HATCH series where he finished 3rd in his first ever race.

Interestingly at the time he was a student and drove his racing car to varsity everyday, roll cage and all!
 
In 2002 he started working for an advanced driving company called SKID based at Zwartkops raceway. It wasn't easy in the beginning, but it was the beginning of an amazing career in the advanced driving instruction line.
 
He moved to BMW advanced driving, then Audi and Mercedes-Benz. Initially he started as a junior instructor but worked his way up to a point where he would run events and be chief instructor.
 
At this time he met South African racing car drivers that he had only watched on TV, drivers like Anthony Taylor, Hennie Groenewald, Derek Irving, Deon Joubert, Graham Nathan, Reghard Roets and the like. These South African legends where instrumental in his development as a racing car driver!
 
in 2006 he started instructing for Taurino Racing on the Ferrari Driving Experience and later in the year was offered position of General manager for Taurino Racing.
 
He raced with great success in the VW Challenge and had many race wins but unfortunately due to budget restraints was unable to complete a full season.
 
In 2007 he raced a Taurino Racing 360 Challenge Ferrari at Kyalami and managed a spectacular pole position and second place.
 
He has driven many wonderful cars including Porsche, Ferrari, Aston Martin and Lamborghini.
